ABC has announced the renewal of several of its programmes including Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, and Dancing With The Stars. Also on its renewal list are Brothers And Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Bachelor, America's Funniest Home Videos, Supernanny, Wife Swap, and Private Practice. Lost will also return for its final season as part of a three-season deal signed in 2007. Notably absent from the list are The Unusuals, Better Off Ted, In The Motherhood, and Scrubs. Source

PARIS (AFP) American actor Patrick Dempsey, one of the stars of blockbuster TV series "Grey's Anatomy", played a new role on Friday when he sampled the historic Le Mans motor racing circuit. Dempsey, "Dr Shepherd" in the the long-running drama, drove a Ferrari F430GT on the Bugatti course, part of the famed French circuit, as he prepares for a possible tilt at the Le Mans 24 Hour Race on June 13 and 14. "It's a dream for me to be here," said Dempsey who has taken part in motorsport events in the United States. "I am fascinated by the Le Mans 24 Hour Race and I can sense the weight of history on the circuit." Source
